Everyone knows that Mr. Gray likes bingo. And scrabble. And jigsaw puzzles. Personally, sometimes I wish my husband was a little more like Mr. Gray, especially when we’re on vacation and I want to do stuff! And he wants to, well, be a beach bum. But does anyone know Mr. Gray can be active too? And I mean, 100-mile ultramarathon kind of active. Goodbye stereotypes!
The Force is with Mr. Gray
My dad once gave my brother Michael a nickname to tell him apart from all the other playground kids: Obi-Wan! My brother Michael, Obi-Wan? Let’s be real! But you know who was Obi-Wan? My grandpa! When I was still young and stupid, he had all the wisdom of a Jedi Master. About everything, including deodorant. And let me tell you, deodorant is important.

But I do wanna talk to ya’ll about the The Eden Alternative. Raise your hand if you’ve heard about this?! This is a whole new kind of nursing home. It’s so amazing that, just, I’m -mind- -blown- here.
Double Whammy
You know how you hear stories about people who hit the lottery twice? Well, that happened to me, in the same day, with one minor difference. Instead of winning $350 Mill and retiring at age 35, I had TWO SIMULTANEOUS encounters with Mr. Gray. Ok, and I had to shell out a few bucks for labels. SameSame. Anywho, it was like the stars collided to give me a double dose of darling seniors.

My hope is that this blog adventure will be like a beautiful blind date where you, too, will fall head over heels for Mr. Gray. I’ve been into him since the age of in utero, but ya know what they say: “It’s never too late to Go Gray.
